The Monday Hangover Cure

As I am writing this from my dimly lit apartment, my head is pounding, my stomach is aching and my tongue feels dryer than sandpaper. Every Monday we are going to come up with three different ways to cure the hangover blues so you can get going with your week and hopefully do it all again next weekend. Yesterday was St. Patrick's Day and if you're anything like us, you fully embrace the holiday that literally is based on the idea that you get wasted on a Sunday night (nowadays). Hopefully you had a blast but it's Monday and time to get back to reality so here's a few tips to get you feeling normal again.

1. The Caesar - Alright so maybe one of the most obvious and well known hangover remedies is to start your morning off with a beer and you won't feel the hangover later in the day. The smell of beer after a hard night drinking is enough to make us sick, so go with a Caesar or a Bloody Mary. We suggest to do it with alcohol but its not a horrible idea to make it a virgin Mary instead.


2. Smokes Poutinerie - If you happened to walk out of the bar this weekend and decide that you need some serious chow but didn't happen to stumble your way in to Smokes, then head there first thing the next morning. You can customize your mess of fries cheese and gravy by adding whatever type of greesy food you want and smokes will make it for you. Grease = Good.

3. A Good Movie - We suggest keeping your mind of the shame of last nights adventures and putting on a good flick to curl up in the fetal position on the couch and watch. Hall Pass is available on Netflix now and may be a good comedy to keep your spirits high.



So chug that Caesar, mow that Poutine and land yourself on the couch for an afternoon of laughs and sobriety. See you next week.
